I did up this guy for the original BoLScon (now War Games Con). I didn't actually take him in my army, but I just wanted him in there for the heck of it. The best part of him (in my opinion) is the green stuff sculpted wolf-hide banner. This was one of my first forays into green stuffing, and I think it came out pretty well.
With the update, I was just darkening the armor up a bit, and some other things including repainting the power fist red. I really like the pop of red on the model. In addition to that, I did a head swap to keep with the bare-headed theme of my army.
The only thing I didn't like with the repaint is how dark the leather came out. I made a mistake and put Badab Black on and then followed it up with Devlan Mud. I should have just stuck with Devlan Mud. I may go back and repaint the leather and then re-wash it, but that will have to be for another day.
Very Cool. Did you greenstuff/plasticard the banner? Pretty neat and very characterful.
