Little Bit of This...

One of the things I love about Reaper minis is that they are cheap. In price that is. The wife and I went into the FLGS the other day and we were just looking around and happened upon the Reaper mini shelf. Wow what a selection. From the Pathfinder minis, to Dark Haven range, there is something for everyone!

Not that we needed anything, but my wife and I walked out with four minis.

Interlude: Pathfinder & Wolves

So I've got a great wife. She is almost as big of a nerd as I am. She likes to play MMO's with me, she painted herself a Necron army (although she refuses to play against my Space Wolves until they get a new codex, and I can't blame her), and she joins in when I go to play D&D and Pathfinder.

Well over the summer, me and my teacher friends are playing a Pathfinder module, Curse of the Crimson Throne. One of the things I have started doing is painting miniatures of each of the PCs for our games, I did it for the last D&D adventure, and I'm also going to do it for CotCT.

Now my wife's character is a courtesan by day and rogue by night (or would the courtesan "work" at night, nevermind). She found a mini from Reaper, but of course the FLGS didn't have it in stock. Now my wife isn't exactly the most patient of people, so she had to have a mini, so she bought this one.

Hobbit says what?

Well this is a bit different. Tomorrow afternoon I will be rolling up a D&D character with a group of work buddies. Oh, did I mention that my wife will be playing with us? Shes the best. I guess we'll be playing D&D 3.5, and my wife decided that we needed the Players Handbook so she could get some background. Well after looking through a couple of Half Price Books, we couldn't find the book, so we went into a FLGS and she decided she wanted to buy herself a mini. Well I couldn't let her do that, so I had to buy myself one as well. I have decided to play Halfling rogue, and my wife started out wanting to play a caster, but then decided she wants to play a bard. Unfortunately her mini doesn't have a particularly bard-y look to her, but oh well.

Anywho, here are the minis we'll be playing with.
