As I said in my last post, I can't believe I hadn't already posted the completed pics of this guy. He has been done for a while now. So I figured I'd better get off my duff and get to it. So here we go.
First up just a couple of front shots, one from a lower angle. This guy was a lot of fun to paint. I don't get to much of a chance to paint robes, and with this guy's armor being in a cool steel-blue, I decided to do the robe in red, and I think it looks pretty good!
I think I did a good job painting the runes on the this guy's staff. I think i got some really good high lights on them and I think really came out well.
Lastly the business arm. The detail on the shoulder pad is incredible. It really looks good with a solid coat of gold, a highlight, and a wash.
Well there you have it. One model of my Grey Knight army complete. 27 to go!
Nice work. I really like the edging on the base. It might seem silly, but I think the light color looks sharp.
ReplyDeleteRon, FTW
Thanks, I'm never really sure what the edge should look like. With this I just went with a neutral.
