Mini-Update: Wolf Banner

So I've been hearing good things about the Wolf Banners so I decided to get a couple ready. I've used them twice now and both time I've been disappointed. Not in the Wolf Banner, in myself. The first time was when I assaulted a Daemon Prince, and forgot to pop it. In the second fight I played against Mech IG, and I the only thing I got to assault were vehicles that had moved less than 6 inches. So I'm still looking forward to tossing it out with a full squad.

Anywho, here is my first one. Done up in Red and Black for my first pack of Grey Hunters, the next one will be in Black and Red. I'm so original.






I cant recall which blog I got the idea of the removable banner from. I think it was Spear of Russ, but I can't find the post now. Well it turned out to be the Iron Wolves blog. Thanks to bG. Any ways, to whomever it was, thanks. I think this'll work much better than magnets.

    Hey there, just stumbled onto your blog through FTW. I'm really liking your work.

    Not sure if it was my blog that you got the idea from, but I've done exactly the same with my banners and its very useful for remembering to use them and which you've used. Also, definitely take the banners if you can. I always try and pop mine in the first round of combat for the squad pretty much no matter what and you'd be surprised how often a 1 will end up being a 5 or 6 on a re-roll.

    YES! It was your blog I stole, er borrowed the idea from.

    I'm still looking forward to using the banner correctly. at least for now, I like painting them, so thats not bad!
